Green Pasta



Maggie—who sometimes cooks—shares her recipe for green pasta.


Ingredients:

  • Spinach

  • Basil

  • Peas

  • Zucchini

  • Yellow onion

  • Garlic

  • Cottage cheese

  • Chili flakes

  • Italian spices

  • Chicken stock cube

  • Pasta

  • Toasted bread 

  • Butter

  • Olive oil 


Steps:

  1. In a pan, add butter, olive oil and chopped onions, sauté for a couple of minutes then add garlic, sliced zucchini and peas and cook for another couple of minutes.

  2. Blanch the spinach and basil in boiling water for a couple of minutes then wash them with cold water.

  3. Blend the zucchini, peas and basil with water and the chicken stock cube.

  4. In a pan, add the green sauce and cooked pasta and mix well.

  5. Top with chili flakes, cottage cheese and toasted bread.
