Our authors

Alice is former clown, now retired and based in Malmö. She has an academic background in gender studies and cultural studies and enjoys engaging in social movements, literature and beer.

Jakob holds a Ph.D. in Science of Arts and is lecturer for Visual Communication at Malmö University. For his research, he combines artistic and traditional academic approaches, beyond academic text-production he has published comics, poetry, essays, satires, as well as built and performed with puppets.

Neda is an Egyptian filmmaker and artist. She is an English Literature graduate and always tries to incorporate literary elements in her work.

Kira is a Danish-Polish writer with a background in natural sciences. She works as a software developer and uses literary arts as her creative outlet. She primarily writes fiction and poetry, and has an interest in fashion, philosophy, and aerial sports.

Nina has an academic background Peace, Mediation and Conflict Research which she hopes to combine with her passion for sports in her professional life. While figuring out the way there, now that she has finished her studies, she often comes across topics and issues she wants more people to hear about and discuss which is what inspires her articles.

Linguist nerd with a particular flair for art and cultural diversity. I graduated from Pisa University with a degree in Foreign Languages and Linguistics, then left to go further North to start a Master's in Cultural Studies at Malmö University. Art and photography are my main passions, together with language learning.
